PROJECTS Clarence Correctional Centre

Clarence Correctional Centre, located near Grafton, NSW, is operated by Serco on behalf of the NSW Government. This facility accommodates minimum- and maximum-security level inmates and has three distinct areas across the 195ha site. The site spans 64 buildings and features extensive high-voltage infrastructure, critical systems, and secure operational environments.

Sturdie was engaged by Serco to deliver electrical service and maintenance across the facility under a long-term contract. Our team provides comprehensive electrical maintenance, ensuring consistent high-performance outcomes while navigating the stringent security protocols and operational challenges of a correctional environment.

The scope of work includes full electrical maintenance and servicing across all 64 buildings, encompassing 2 x 11kV HV main switchboards, 22 x 11kV transformers, 3 x 11kV emergency generators, 22 x LV main switchboards, 251 x LV distribution boards, 22 x UPS units, and approximately 2,500 RCDs.
